B.Com Programme

B.com or Bachelor of Commerce is a 3-year UG degree course that is recognised by Universities Grants Commission. This course can be pursued as full-time, part-time, and distance as well, therefore students can opt for any. B. Com has been the third most desired course in India by students. Besides B. Com, candidates can also pursue BCom (Hons) if they wish for in-depth knowledge in the Commerce stream. Usually, students tend to pursue professional courses along with the B.Com degree. Both the courses are a good option but it is up to you whether you want to concentrate on a certain topic and pursue BCom Honours or if you want to have an overview of all disciplines in the field of business and pursue regular BCom.

It depends on the university as some consider having maths in 11/12th as a prerequisite to get admission. Also, government universities like DU consider maths as a prerequisite for B.com(Hons) but not for B.Com. So it depends on the course that you are opting for as well as the university you are taking admission in.
